Week 29 and a Little Song

I'd like to share a little song that fell out of my head one day in May. I've been singing all night and felt it would be appropriate to share given the mood I'm in and the truth held in the song. Regular Bible verses for the week to follow.

I'll stay true to that man though strange it may be.
I once had a man do it for me
And I never did deserve it
I hated him in the worse kind of way
Though he hung on the bark of a tree that day
And Lord He never did deserve it

But now the hell I'm living in, is outshone by the death of my sin.
And the love of that man that left in the dark,
Can't stand to the love found in the mark
on the Son of man's hands

Though I should be destroyed, I still find the joy
