A Romp in the Meadow

Several weeks back my friends and I decided to drive around the Santa Barbara mountains on a photo adventure. We find it produces good laughs, stress relief, and wonderful pictures. We stumbled across a meadow somewhere between Montecito and SB and couldn't pass it up. The lighting made it look like it was glistening at times.

My friend Carissa came up for the day and we proceeded to what is known as "scary dairy" to do a photo shoot. Scary dairy is known to have been the dairy (and possibly slaughterhouse?) that provided milk and such to a mental institution that is now home to cal state channel islands. It is rumored to be haunted, although I felt quite at peace there and decided it would be a delightful place to read a book. We spent all of our time in this structure (perhaps a hay barn?) due to the fact several boys were tagging the actual dairy structure (not pictured). We shall have to go back some time and explore the ruins more thoroughly. In the meantime, the light was absolutely lovely and we had a good time.
